Analytics

This site uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand which content is useful — things like page views and which gear links get clicked. To do that, Google sets cookies in your browser and processes data (including your IP address, which GA4 anonymises) on its servers. I only ever see aggregate stats; I can't identify you personally from them.

You can opt out using Google's browser add-on, your browser's cookie controls, or a tracker-blocking extension. For more on how Google handles this data, see Google's privacy policy.

Affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the destination retailer (e.g. Amazon) may set their own cookies to attribute a sale. That's governed by their privacy policy, not mine. See the affiliate disclosure for how that works.

What I don't do

• No selling or sharing of personal data.
• No advertising trackers.
• No account or login — there's nothing to sign up for.
